MF GHOST Season 2 Anime Shares New Key Visual, Battle Digest

Late last year, it was announced that the continuation of Shuichi Shigeno’s Initial D would be… well, continuing. MF GHOST is confirmed to be getting a second season this year, and today we get a key visual showing a rainy race in progress.

In the lead is Kanata Rivington’s 86, followed closely by the Alpine A110 and Porsche 718 Cayman S:

Additionally, fans in Japan can relive exciting moments from season 1 in the newly-edited MF GHOST BATTLE DIGEST, available on Amazon Prime and Japanese streaming service Lemino. Set to 16 Eurobeat songs, the special recaps the MFG opening race on Odawara Pikes Peak. At present, it is unknown whether this video will be available outside Japan.

The original MF GHOST manga by Shuichi Shigeno is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine seinen manga publication, and an English language version is also available from Kodansha USA. The TV anime is directed by Tomohito Naka at animation studio Felix Film.
